The Open Door community-based services program includes Community Support Services (CSS) and the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. Open Door provides community and office-based services for clients with serious and persistent mental illness. The program focuses on meeting clients where they are to help them achieve their goals. The CSS and ACT teams collaborate with outpatient programs across Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare to ensure clients receive the support they need to thrive. Services available through the Open Door program include case management, peer support, individual and group therapy, medication management, addiction treatment services, supported employment, and skills training.

Community Support Services is Open Door's case management team. They collaborate with CBH outpatient programs to connect clients with severe and persistent mental illness to needed services and resources. Case Managers provide planning, engagement, care coordination, and skills training to ensure clients are connected to every appropriate resource. At CBH, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue their goals at their own pace; the Case Management team is here to help turn goals into reality.
Assertive Community Treatment is an intensive, community-based program for individuals experiencing serious and persistent mental illness. ACT provides comprehensive services by collaborating and coordinating with CBH outpatient programs, including individual therapy, medication management, and substance use disorder treatment. The ACT team supports clients in living in the community, participating in treatment, and managing their health independently.
