The Developmental Disability Program provides specialized services meeting the unique needs of those experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program serves children and adults throughout Clatsop County, partnering with service providers and government agencies to offer the education and resources needed to help every community member live well.

Individuals living with disabilities are at a higher risk of being a victim of abuse than those not living with disabilities and may have difficulty finding help after the abuse has occurred. If abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation of an adult living with disabilities is suspected, please call an Abuse Investigator at (971) 606-0107. To report suspected abuse of a child, call DHS Child Welfare at 1-855-503-SAFE.If the situation is an emergency, immediately call 911.
